Sediq Shubab is a renowned Afghan pop artist. Sediq continues his music career in exile from Frankfurt, Germany. Working closely with one of the most successful music arranger and composer, Khaled Kayhan of Kayhan Studios, Sediq has managed to maintained his status as one of the top recording artists inside and outside Afghanistan.
Sediq is known for singing traditional and folk Afghan songs in Dari and Pashto with the actual dialect of the region that the songs belong to.

Ever since his first music video Ay Padshah-e Khooban mixed with Hindi song which aired on many Afghan satellite channels, Bashir has rose to fame and is now performing live in concerts and has a great amount of fan base in Youtube.

Nazir Khara is a talented and accomplished singer, composer and tv personality who besides releasing many great albums and songs has appeared in a number of Afghan tv shows including the hit musical show Afghan Star presented by TOLO TV, Afghanistan.
Nazir has established a studio in Kabul, Afghanistan which is made available to young Afghans for their recording purposes. Nazir Khara has released a number of songs which are musically and vocally inspiring to Afghans inside and outside Afghanistan.

Fardin Faryad, a young talented artist from Toronto, Canada rose to fame with his super hit song Tu Ke Mori song, with lyrics and compose both by him.
He then embarked on his first tour around the world with most notible concerts in Europe, clips of which can be found on Youtube.
Fardin has just released his new album Shahr-e Roya which includes a variety of pop songs in different languages and styles. You can listen to the high quality songs of the album here.

Shafiq Mureed is a young talented Afghan singer born in Laghman, Afghanistan.
Shafiq is also the winner of the Afghan Star 2008, a reality musical competition show by Tolo TV enabling new solo musical talents to compete on national tv, similar to American Idol.

Farhad Darya will have concerts in three major cities of Afghanistan, Jalalabad, Mazar-e Sharif and Kabul.
The tour will kick start on August 3 in Jalalabad at Sports Stadium, followed by Mazar Sharif on August 7 and then ending with the last show in Kabul on August 11 at Sports Stadium.
It should be noted that the admission to these concerts will be free of charge.

This morning while I was surfing my Facebook account, a new video clip was posted in Jawid Sharif’s Facebook status. Being a fan, I put away aside everything I was doing, including my Tim Hortons’ Coffee, and carefully watched and inspected this video.
My first observation was a pleasant one – I really liked the videography and the setting of the video – the retro car and pilot sunglasses added a nostalgic feeling to this video… which by the way was originally sang by Omar Shekeb back in the days in …
